Biography of Tim Shannon, ND

Tim Shannon, ND is licensed Naturopathic Physician who practices using Homeopathic medicine exclusively. He specializes in treating a wide spectrum of mental, emotional, and behavioral health problems: The autistic spectrum, ADD, ADHD, OCD, ODD, Tourette's, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Bi Polar, PTSD, Schizophrenia, etc.

His focus is on finding a precise Homeopathic medicine which stimulates deep healing for every patient; a prescription that engenders true self sustainable healing.

Tim Shannon, ND received his medical education at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. NCNM is a four-year medical college with a demanding academic and clinical workload. His intensive study of homeopathic medicine began in 1993, via study and clinical work at NCNM. In addition, he attended classes with many internationally-known homeopathic doctors.

Tim Shannon, ND co-taught several homeopathic classes at NCNM. These classes were based on his successful cases. In recognition of his homeopathic teaching and tutoring at NCNM, he was honored with the *Doctor as Teacher* award. In addition, he won the Brant Ashton Memorial Scholarship, which is given for research done using homeopathy with HIV/AIDS.

In the summer of 2000, Tim Shannon, ND  was invited to Kenya to help open an AIDS clinic in the slums of Nairobi. In addition to successfully treating many patients there, he also taught several classes to Kenyan students.

Tim Shannon, ND worked for several years at a mental health clinic treating schizophrenia and bipolar disorder using homeopathy. He has also treated many HIV/AIDS patients at the Portland Alternative Health Center (commonly referred to as PAHC) in downtown Portland for the past four years.
