Miasms and Homeopathy: Thimerosol as an Trigger Cause of Autism by Tricia Feijo, FsHOM, Classical Homeopath Tricia Feijo has studied Classical Homeopathy under Dr. Luc De Schepper Reprinted by permission. Thought to share, that the reason I mentioned Thimerosal as not being THE cause of autism, is because there is so much attention on it - and often, therefore, aggressive methods fervently used to remove it from the body, and even clamor for the isode. It can be the exciting cause (trigger), but it is not the fundamental cause. This is important, because we must understand what causes a disease, to effectively remove a disease from the body. Hahnemann said this: "Since diseases in general are but dynamic attacks upon the life principle and nothing material as their basis. . .there is nothing material to take away. . .the dynamic, inimical principle exerting its influence upon the vital energy is the essence of these external signs of the inner malignant miasms.". The idea of miasms, mentioned by Hippocrates, furthered by Hahnemann, is that they are the pollution at the basis of all chronic disease. If the disease seen is the weed, the miasm is the root. I mentioned the Syphilitic miasm, which one aspect of is "disconnectedness", another "isolation". It is the miasm of destruction, which can take many forms. The Tubercular and Cancer miasm are mixed miasms, and cover also the syphilitic miasm. In answer to someone's question, you can have any miasm (most of us have several), without ever having the disease. An autistic child may need (benefit from) virtually any remedy. Knowledge of miasms helps the homeopath to choose a remedy - depending on the current miasm most active -- which will not act superficially or suppressively. Knowledge of miasms can also help the homeopath assess the direction any case is going in, to check if indeed it is on its way to cure. Knowledge of miasms also is important, that the homeopath not rouse latent or dormant miasms into activity. Nosodes work deeply, and should be reserved for miasmatic blocks, or when they cover the totality and can be used as the chronic rx. Isodes should only be used when the well-indicated remedy fails to work, and another type of energetic block is suspected. Never routinely, as in "sequential therapy". Hope this helps some, it's a deep issue (no pun intended!). Allopathy looks at genes, Homeopathy looks at miasms. In the past century, we have seen the miasmatic state get worse and worse; there are several reasons for this:
Hahnemann warned that this is what could happen! Homeopathy can turn it around. Miasms are the basis of disease, and are what need to be expunged from the body. |
