After many years working as a research computer scientist, she made an unusual career move: she became a student, writer, promoter, and, most recently, practitioner of homeopathic medicine. This was prompted by the miraculous cure of her son's autism with homeopathy. In addition to her homeopathic practice, providing referrals and guidance to many parents in the autism community, serving as an editor and columnist for a variety of homeopathic publications, and promoting homeopathy through her book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy, Amy is a board member of both the California Health Freedom Coalition and the National Center for Homeopathy in Alexandria, Virginia.
